Jillian's School Birthday Party

Jillian's birthday party at pre-school was today so I had her sit in the little Dora chair and I put her hair in two pony tails, then put in some ribbons that matched her outfit.  As soon as Jillian got off the Dora chair, Bridget climbed on it and sat down.  I asked her if she wanted her hair pretty like Jillian's and she shook her head yes, so I proceeded to fix hers the same as Jillian's.  The amazing thing was that Bridget sat without moving a muscle until I was all done.  Then I took her to a mirror and she was so pleased.  It seems she wants to do whatever Jillian does all the time.

Jillian got to lead the class in everything today for her birthday celebration.  For the party she got to put on her crown she made at the starting of pre-school, then they had the cookies that Jillian brought, and after that everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to her.  That is her teacher sitting by her leading the singing.  Next she got to pick out 4 little things from the teacher's birthday bag since she turned 4 years old.  Next they had sharing so Jillian decided to share the ruler (pointer) she picked out and during sharing she turned to the numbers and counted while pointing to them.
At the end of class Jillian got to pass out her treat bags to all the kids.  She was so nice that when she had one bag left over she gave it to one of the kid's little sister.
On the way home after this party the two girls just cracked up Papa and I.  Jillian would tell a knock-knock joke but leave out the last part as she always does.  Jillian went, "Knock, Knock, who's there? Banana! Banana who?" and then Bridget would just laugh out loud like it was so funny.  Then again, "Knock, Knock, who's there? Apple! Apple who?" and again Bridget would laugh.  That went on for quite awhile repeating the same banana and apple.  At least Jillian had a good audience in Bridget.
